Acceptable Use Policy
UsageMill is B2B metering infrastructure. This AUP is part of the Terms.
Allowed
- Metering usage of your own SaaS, API, or infrastructure product.
- Sending events that describe seats, tokens, API calls, or similar business quantities.
- Idempotent retries and test events from the dashboard.
Not allowed
- Abuse, load tests that degrade the shared API without notice, or credential stuffing.
- Storing card numbers, bank secrets, government IDs, or passwords in event fields.
- Using UsageMill to invoice in a way that launders fraud or evades card-network rules.
- Reselling raw ingest as a white-label without a written deal.
- Scraping the marketing site or docs in a way that harms availability.
Enforcement
We may rate-limit, drop events, or close a workspace if this AUP is broken. Caps on Starter, Pro, and Scale are also enforcement — they live in code.
